On Halloween, Kween had a sale {you know me, weak for a good sale}, $24.99 for their granola butter 3 jar variety pack. I caved, I got it. I spent $25 on a trendy snack spread.

What is granola butter?

Created by the kween herself {Ali Bonar} granola butter is a great substitute for anyone with allergies to peanut butter, almond butter – any of the nut butters really! But yes, you can also get it if you just love to try new things [like me!].
Made with no refined sugars, preservatives or unnatural additives, there’s only 4g of sugar, but a whopping 6g of protein per serving!
To break it down, granola butter is made of:
- Gluten-Free Organic Rolled Oats
- Golden Flax
- Collagen Peptides
- Olive Oil
- Coconut Oil
- Maple Syrup
- Cinnamon
You can read more in detail here of the specifics, what’s better than a transparent company!?
What does it taste like?

In the variety pack, I got pumpkin spice {PRAIISE}, original and collagen infused.
So I opened each jar and straight up ate a spoonful of all three flavors.. I wanted to really see what they taste like on their own ..
Pumpkin Spice – I’m unwell. Please catch me while I pass out because this stuff is UNREAL! It’s a cross between a cinnamon graham cracker and a pumpkin gelato taste? Did that even make sense… who cares… you have to try this stuff to understand my love for this deliciousness right now OMG! *I finished the jar in 5 days.. help
Original – A little less sweetness than the pumpkin spice, but just as addicting. I could eat spoonfuls of this for hours…
Collagen – The same flavor flav as the original, but in the back of your mind you’re like “oh! it has collagen! that makes it even healthier right!?”
*eats half the jar in one sitting*
What do you eat it with/on?

Since the price tag is a bit hefty [$12.95 per 12 oz jar], I wanted to be smart with how I consumed it. Instead of putting it blindly into recipes where all the ingredients seem to make one new big taste – like a smoothie or protein balls – I’ve been using GB as a garnish if you will LOL
- drizzled on apples and yogurt
- spread on a rice cake or toast
- topping on overnight oats
- dip with pretzel crisps
- on pancakes/waffles
- topped on chilled/frozen bananas slices
- spoonful straight from the jar ~ no shame
The best way? Honestly, by the spoonful! The consistency is so smooth, yet flavorful. I really can’t explain it, I haven’t tasted anything like this before, wow.

Treat yo self

Cassie Says… treat yo self! Despite the high price, I am SO glad I ordered it. I also totally understand that small businesses that make high quality products charge the worth of the product – so in that case, it makes sense!
Reduce, reuse, recycle. I’ve been reusing the jars for my overnight oats! Perfect size.
*CassieSays tip* hold back getting Starbs 3 times this month & instead, get yourself a jar of Kween Granola Butter – you’ll thank me, it’s UNREAL!
